Glass House Notes Event with Greenwise!

 

Our First Event!

Ok, so, yes, we have like 5 Publix's in our area, but who's complaining! One of those is a Greenwise, an entire store dedicated to their healthier brands. This particular one that just popped up, has a great boutiquey style which creates a comfy & homey space. 

One of the neatest things they offer are events that spotlight small business' nearby. After speaking with the management team, Glass House Notes is now one of those business'! 

On Saturday, March 27th from 11-3, we will have a tent set up with many illustrations for you to purchase. The notecards are designed to adorn your flower arrangements to add an artistic touch. We all know that flowers go to flower heaven, and when they do, you still have artwork to frame that keeps the memory of the gift alive.

Glass House Notes

My love for flowers is expanding! Watercolor is such a wonderful art form and really helps me to create realistic images of nature. 

Within one week, I created over 20 cards, my excitement driving every stroke. 

These notes were created to adorn a flower arrangement for any occasion. The images adorn the front and we leave space for you, on the back, to jot your thoughts.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I just love the feminine feel and softness they have, straight from when I was a little princess myself. 

In the world of acrylics...

A controlling medium, if I do say so myself.

A medium I do like when I am in the detailed mode, is acrylic paints. I use this medium as a tool to express myself and the inspirations around me. In real life, everything is in order and has a place. But, when I pick up the paint brush, the messy girl comes out to play.

Inspiration...Through the Mail.

About 10 years ago, I was head deep into playing with paper, designing notecards. Searching the craft stores for the prettiest papers and stickers to create little worlds. Meanwhile, in my mailbox, an inspirational treat kept arriving, that treat was the Anthroplogie catalog. 

During a dry spell, not feeling inspired, I tend to hit the magazines. A rustic, yet feminine cover popped out of the pile, making my heart jump a beat...encouraging me to create. It was back, and so I hit the ground running to JoAnn's for some paper to match my new found project; Found the accessories and creaing masterpieces after masterpieces until an entire collection was complete..  Enjoy the gallery & remember, inspiration comes from everywhere, you just have to take the time to see it!

Hi Guys!

Ok, I have to share with you, I've have been creating products, paintings and stuff since 2006. My close friends & relatives have been very patient with me as I start, yet, something else. That's an artist for ya! 

So, I have put some thought into all of my creations and have gathered them all up in one place, on one site. I'm so excited to share this with you!
